Police continue to look for the driver of a vehicle involved in an incident in the city yesterday morning in which a vehicle was struck at the Derby Street-Gladstone Road roundabout.
At around 8.45am yesterday police in an unmarked patrol car noticed a vehicle being driven dangerously on Gladstone Road.
“The driver of that vehicle then continued to drive dangerously in Derby Street and the staff in the unmarked car activated lights and sirens,” a police spokesman said.
“The offending vehicle continued to drive dangerously, so the staff in the unmarked vehicle pulled over and did not follow or pursue it.
“Unfortunately the offending vehicle then collided with another vehicle at the roundabout at Gladstone and Derby.
