Road users have been told to expect delays on SH2 at Otoko tomorrow morning, while tree stumps are removed.
The work is part of the clean-up from Cyclone Gabrielle, to further improve the safety of the network north of Gisborne.
“Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency is reminding road users to
expect delays of up to 20 minutes between the hours of 9am and midday tomorrow (Friday March 31),” a Waka Kotahi statement said.
“While the stump removal won’t take the entire time, the three-hour window is to allow contractors to get to the site.
“People are advised to plan ahead and factor the delays into their journey plans.
