The front page of Tuesday’s paper so filled me with shock that I didn’t want to read the accompanying information.
Tell me, how can a dog that is microchipped, registered etc be taken by a council staff member and mistakenly put down? It belies belief.
Losing a dog like Sarge is like losing a family member. I know, I have lost much-loved dogs in the past and you never forget the pain.
My deepest sympathy goes to Sarge’s owners. No one or another dog can replace Sarge. My heart goes out to you.
