Culvert job called off again due to weather

It was too wet again this morning for Waka Kotahi contractors to carry out a culvert replacement job at the trouble spot on State Highway 2 just north of Matawai.

The NZTA announced at 10am that the planned two-hour road closure at the site had been called off again. It was called off yesterday too.

The work has been postponed to next Wednesday, again between 10am and 12 midday.
