The clock is ticking now for growers on the Poverty Bay and Tolaga Bay/Uawa flats to take part in the crop survey that’s currently being conducted by Gisborne District Council, together with HortNZ and Plant & Food Research. Growers of apples, avocado, broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, citrus, grapes, kiwifruit, lettuce, maize or sweetcorn, pasture or squash have been urged to take part. The survey closes tomorrow week (August 31).
