Recruitment is under way for people to work in the East Coast electorate in the General Election.
The Electoral Commission needs more than 20,000 people from all over the country and there are multiple casual roles available in the East Coast electorate.
“This is a great opportunity to be part of the election team and support your community to have their say on October 14,” said Electoral Commission deputy chief executive of operations, Anusha Guler.
The various roles require a variety of skills and are divided between voting place roles and electorate headquarter roles.
Voting place roles will be at the front line of the election, from greeting voters, to issuing votes and helping voters, to managing and assisting teams of voting place employees.
