THE Gisborne RSA Anzac Day Speech Competition, which debuted last year, is back again in 2023.
The topic this year is, “Chunuk Bair and the Anzacs”.
The competition is open to Gisborne students aged from 12 to 15.
The winner will deliver their speech at the Dawn Service on Anzac Day and should speak for no more than three minutes.
Entries can be emailed to info@gisbornersa.co.nz, and must be in by April 10, at 5pm.
The competition is sponsored by M.E Jukes and Son and includes prize money of $500, $200 and $150 for the first three placegetters.
