Another roundabout required

Opinion

Re the modes of moving nonsense . . . I would seriously suggest that another roundabout is needed to solve a now very-congested intersection.

I refer to the Peel Street-Childers Road intersection.

This has become a nightmare to negotiate safely, as these roads have become busier and busier.

There is ample space for a properly functioning roundabout.

It doesn’t need an expert to see how busy Childers Road has become from Carnarvon Street to Reads Quay.

If ever attention to traffic flow and congestion was needed, it is this road and that intersection . . . never mind idiotic grand plans to “shift our modes”.
