RISING two-year-old bulls to be put up for auction in the annual bull sales in two months were shown off this week to prospective buyers in the Bull Walk.

All Gisborne and Wairoa Angus studs were visited over two days.

“This has been the most wonderful season we have ever had,” said Colin Williams from Kaharau Stud on Rimunui Station in Riverside Road.

“It’s just a fluke really, given the weather predictions around El Nino. We’ve been very lucky.”
