For years, little children living in Gaza born with heart defects have been admitted to Israeli hospitals where they’ve received corrective surgery from Israeli doctors. Their parents are often amazed that the people they’ve been taught to hate can treat them with such love and kindness. We must be careful not to automatically believe what we’re told by Hamas, who Egypt, Canada, Japan, the UK, EU and the US have all designated as a terrorist organisation.
