A Christmas market with a difference took place on Saturday at the Albert Cox Skatepark — all the stall holders were under the age of 18.
The fine weather coupled with the delicious offerings on sale made for a successful market and organiser Cain Kerehoma said the young people involved
gained some good practical experience.
Mr Kerehoma wants to help support young entrepreneurs. He said the Hokohoko Youth Market was a way for youngsters to get experience in running a business.
The market attracted a steady stream of customers throughout the day.
Mr Kerehoma hopes to run another one in February.
