For their last album, Sludge Pop, indie group Soaked Oats incorporated lots of synths deep in the mix that fatten out the sound a bit more.

“The themes running across our songs change as we do, and as such there isn't one thing we're always trying to express,” guitarist Henry Francis told The New Zealand Herald last year.

“Soaked Oats was born out of close friends enjoying their time together and loving music.”

Now you can enjoy it too when the band is served up at Smash Palace on Friday, January 8 at 8pm.

Presales tickets are $20+bf and are available at undertheradar.co.nz
