Yoko Ono is calling for action to stop gun crime in the US as she marks 35 years since her husband John Lennon was shot dead in New York.
The Beatles icon was murdered by crazed fan Mark Chapman on December 8, 1980, outside his home in Manhattan's Dakota building, and his widow has continued his avid peace campaigning since the tragedy.
