The man who plays Game of Thrones' bisexual prince thinks it's wonderful his character has helped fans accept their sexuality.
Pedro Pascal, who plays exotic hellraiser Oberyn Martell in the popular series, took part in a Reddit Ask Me Anything on Monday. In the session, Pascal said it was "wonderful" his character had brought a more complex sexuality into mainstream entertainment.
"I think that that's key to Oberyn," he wrote. "The fact that anyone would be attracted to him, no matter what their sexual orientation is, is very in line (his) character.
"So I think that's great."
While he agrees Oberyn's hedonistic energy is "very sexy", Pascal says it hasn't translated into real-life conquests. Asked by one Thrones fan if he got hit on more, the Chilean-American actor quipped: "I wish ... maybe I just need to get out of the house more."
