New Zealand rock band Unknown Mortal Orchestra will take the stage at Coachella.
They join Australian artists Sia, Courtney Barnett and Flume who have also taken top spots in the line-up for 2016.
The artists from down under will perform alongside international acts Calvin Harris, UK outfit Disclosure and a reunited Guns 'N' Roses.
Barnett's high billing comes after a sweep at the ARIA awards while Flume recently announced the release of his second album, Skin.
Other Aussie performers to make the Coachella cut include Melbourne-based indietronica band Miami Horror, DJ Nina Las Vegas, Sydney trio DMA's and indie dance band RUFUS, who will play under the name RUFUS Du Sol after being forced to change their name in the US because of trademark issues.
