A go-ahead New Zealand company is promising more jobs as it lines up heavyweight European contracts for its worldwide loyalty programmes.
Cardlink Systems, formed in 1984 and with offices in Wellington and Auckland, has evolved into the country's largest provider of fleet management, while also becoming the world's biggest supplier of multiparty loyalty programmes.
The development of loyalty programmes - an integral part of modern marketing - has chief executive Linc Burgess predicting more jobs for New Zealanders.
"Our core business is developing software that captures data at the point of sale and allows that data to be assembled into invoices and loyalty points," he said.
"We already have a strong presence in Latin America and Asia, and are working on implementing a Polish scheme next February."
The company was also in the process of sealing deals in both Ireland and Britain," Mr Burgess said.
Its prospective British partner, Retail Decisions, was a significant player in Europe, and could be hugely beneficial to Cardlink.
"While we haven't signed on the dotted line, we have agreed in principle and I'm extremely confident it will be a positive move that sees further expansion of Cardlink Systems."
