A Bollywood star worth hundreds of millions of dollars has been revealed by liquidators as one of the few winners of a lavish but ultimately disastrous show at Vector Arena.
Aucklander Agastya Pesara organised the Temptation Reloaded show in October 2013 headlined by Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan.
Soon after the show, the company which organised it - Areddy Private - collapsed owning creditors more than $1 million.
Khan, described by the Los Angeles Times as perhaps "the world's biggest movie star" is estimated to be worth US$500m.
Liquidator Digby Noyce of RES Corporate Services, appointed to Areddy Private, confirmed in his latest report Khan was one of only a few creditors to receive payment.
