A parking blunder has been spotted in Mount Maunganui yesterday - with a driver's attempts to squeeze a white sedan into a too-tight spot being snapped by a passer-by.
The badly-parked vehicle is squeezed into a parallel spot on a busy road just inches away from the car in front of it - after apparently hitting it - with its rear left wheel on the pavement.

The blunder follows another parking faux pas, with a terribly parked black SUV snapped in the upmarket Auckland suburb of Grey Lynn baffling social media users.
The picture, which has been shared on Facebook, shows the car parked on a diagonal in the middle of the road, with its front end just over the edge of the bus-stop, right in front of yellow lines.
