After last year's success, the Lettuce Inn Music festival is back with an eclectic line-up on stage.
The line-up includes seven-piece Tauranga band The Afrolites, playing original afrobeat/funk music fusing the likes of James Brown, Herbie Hancock, Fela Kuti and the Antibalas.
Anthonie Tonnon is a songwriter originally from Dunedin whose live set combines art-inspired approach to stagecraft, technology and dance moves. Another local band on the line-up is Dead Recipe, who brings 70s jams to the day.
The Entire Alphabet is a percussionist playing a conventional drum kit using non conventional tools creating rhythm and layers of sound through a maze of genres.
Ha The Unclear has a skewed pop energy with a hook driven, guitar pop sound and who have been described by Entertainment Weekly as "fascinatingly odd".
