A 50-minute show weaving together three of Margaret Mahy's best-loved stories will create a magical theatre experience for local children.
A Lion in the Meadow, Leaf Magic and The Witch in the Cherry Tree, along with some of Mahy's poems are being showcased by Auckland children's theatre company Tim Bray Productions.
"It's been a few years since we have been able to tour one of our shows to other centres and we're delighted to be able to take A Lion in The Meadow and Other Stories to Northland, Hamilton and Tauranga audiences."
The show, adapted by Tim Bray, features songs by Christine White, features Adam Burrell as the Lion, with Elizabeth Tierney playing Mum and Maxwell Apse as David, while Lori Dungey plays the Witch and Fish and Chips.
