Mamma Mia musical
Over 50 million people around the world have fallen in love with the characters, the story and the music that makes Mamma Mia! the ultimate feel-good show - now it is Auckland's turn.
Opening on March 4th and running until the 23rd, the show, set on a Greek island paradise features 22 of Abba's hits including Chiquitta, Dancing Queen, I Have a Dream, Knowing You, The Winner Takes it All, Super Trouper, Take a Chance on me and Voulez-vous.

Pasifika
Now in its 22nd year, Pasifika Festival is the largest celebration of Pacific Island culture and heritage in the world, and it all begins on Saturday March 8th.
Western Springs Park will be transformed into 11 Pacific Island villages showcasing the song, dance, food and craft of their Pacific Island nations in an atmosphere of high energy and bustling markets.
Round the Bays
Auckland's biggest fun run, the 42nd Ports of Auckland Round the Bays is on Sunday 9th of March.
2014 brings with it a new seeded start option for elite athletes, as well as a $1,000 Brooks prize pack up for grabs for the first male and female across the line.
As part of the registration process, participants can now choose to support a cause close to their own heart through Everyday Hero.
It's not too late to enter, entries will be taken up until Saturday, March 8th but be warned there will be no entries on the day.
