Otto Warmbier, the University of Virginia student who was detained in North Korea for nearly a year and a half, has died.
Warmbier returned from North Korea last week in a coma, and his father Fred Warmbier denounced the "pariah" regime that brutalised his son.
Parents Fred and Cindy Warmbier issued a statement Monday afternoon (local time):
