RIO DE JANEIRO (AP) Brazilian police say masked gunmen broke into a house used by drug addicts in Rio de Janeiro and killed seven people.
Police inspector Pablo Rodrigues tells reporters the gunmen, armed with rifles and pistols, lined up five men and two women on the veranda and killed them.
He says witnesses reported the killing took place Thursday night in Rio's Realengo district.
He says the seven may have been killed because of unpaid debt.
