Gina Stephens has won a shoal of medals at the Games again this year - adding to the 101 she already has in her collection.
The 68-year-old from Paeroa competed in swimming, hockey and indoor rowing this year after passing the 100-medal mark in the wood chopping at the last Wanganui Games in 2013.
Ms Stephens has participated in, and won medals at, every Wanganui Masters Games since 1991, except for 2011, when she had to remain at home as her husband had been in a road accident.
"This is my treat - something I do for myself, and I find it a great stress release," she said yesterday.
"I have been playing hockey for 49 years now and I have had a few injuries, including lost teeth."
