A clean-sweep on day three of the Congressional Cup match-racing regatta in California has seen Adam Minoprio and his BlackMatch Racing team storm back into contention at the grade one event.
Minoprio won all five of his races yesterday to rocket into second equal place in the standings on 10 points, while a former Team New Zealand tactician, American Terry Hutchinson, holds the lead on 13.
Frenchman Mathieu Richard and Franchesco Bruni of Italy share Minoprio's second position on the ladder.
