Francis Heremaia reckons he's whole again now that he has his Bible back.
The Whangarei taxi driver lost his Bible and Book of Mormon about two weeks ago in the city after dropping off a passenger.
"I have it tucked under my seat in the taxi and it must have somehow been knocked out of place and fallen out," he said.
On Tuesday the Northern Advocate ran a story about found property being handed in to Whangarei police and featured a photo of the Bible. It belonged to Mr Heremaia's daughter and she used it while a student at Church College in Hamilton more than seven years ago.
Mr Heremaia said his daughter and cousin had travelled to Alice Springs in Australia and the Bible had been left behind.
