A 2m remote-controlled plane which hit a Mangateretre man's house has been reunited with its owner.
Barry O'Malley had been trying to solve the mystery of the Parkzone Radian plane since it "bumped into" his house during gale-force winds last week.
He said the plane's owner picked up the plane yesterday after reading about it in Hawke's Bay Today.
"The joker came and picked it up this morning, with its original box and everything. He was very pleased."
The young man had been flying the plane on Elwood Rd near Showgrounds Hawke's Bay, when high winds took it out of range.
