Lorde has taken to Twitter to pen an epic thank you note to fans for sending her new album to No. 1 in America.
The pop star become the first ever Kiwi to top the Billboard album charts after Melodrama - the follow-up to her 2014 debut Pure Heroine - debuted at No. 1.
She replaced last week's No. 1, Katy Perry's Witness, and topped albums by Kendrick Lamar, SZA, Ed Sheeran and Drake.
And Lorde wasted no time taking to Twitter to thank fans for making it happen.
She also said: "Jack and i made this in rooms alone, telling secrets and uncovering truths, and i just know that 15yo me would have been so f***ing proud."
She finished with a flurry of emojis and asked for "more joy in all our futures".
Melodrama has received overwhelming praise and rave reviews from critics, with a 92 per cent approval rating on Metacritic.
