A group of 100 young Aucklanders took to the streets last week to perform 100 random acts of kindness in 100 minutes.
Acts included paying for groceries at various South Auckland supermarkets, giving warm food to homeless people in the CBD and delivering toys to Middlemore Hospital's Pediatric Ward.
The event was held last Friday to mark Random Acts of Kindness Day.
The Movement Youth (MVMNT), a charitable trust youth organisation based in South Auckland that focuses on developing young people into confident individuals, was behind the '100:100:100' challenge.
Jerome Tairi, Director of MVMNT explained that the group wanted young people to experience first-hand the power of giving to the community and what it feels like to personally invest kindness into the people around them.
